How to Use Microsoft 365 Personal

Step 1 — Install the apps

1. 1Order Microsoft 365 Personal from Pak Tools Store and receive access details on WhatsApp.
2. 2Sign in at office.com with the provided account.
3. 3Choose Install apps to download the Office installer for Windows or macOS.
4. 4Run the installer, then open Word once and confirm the account shows an active subscription.

Step 2 — Set up OneDrive properly

• Sign in to the OneDrive app with the same account to unlock the 1TB storage
• Turn on folder backup for Desktop and Documents so work is never lost
• Use Files On-Demand to keep files in the cloud without filling your drive
• AutoSave in Word and Excel only works for files stored in OneDrive

Step 3 — Features worth learning

• Excel: PivotTables, XLOOKUP and conditional formatting for reporting
• Word: Styles and a table of contents for clean thesis and proposal formatting
• PowerPoint: Designer for automatic slide layouts
• Outlook: rules and categories to keep client mail organised
• Version history in OneDrive to restore an earlier draft

Troubleshooting

• "Product deactivated" message: sign out of all Office apps and sign back in with the subscription account
• Wrong account signed in: File → Account → Sign out, then sign in again
• Install stuck: pause OneDrive sync and disable antivirus scanning temporarily during install
